New Year’s Rock Bash: New Pants, SUBS, Re-TROS @ The Village – The Village at Sanlitun, Yugong Yishan, and The Orange combine to bring us one of the better attempts at combining alternative music and corporate publicity in recent times. Tickets are available for free at The Village, Yugong Yishan, or Blue Frog.

旅行团 (The Life Journey), 嘎调 (The Gar), 赌鬼 (Casino Demon), 万能青年旅店 (Omnipotent Youth Society), 钢铁的心 (Steely Heart), 糖果怪兽 (Candy Monster) @ MAO Livehouse – MAO collects a bunch of Beijing rock favourites to show in the new year.
